Home to the state government of Indiana, the Indiana Statehouse was completed in 1888 in the neoclassical form of architecture. Tours of the historic building are offered every weekday, whether you choose to stroll around the building on your own after a brief but informative welcoming, or opt for one of the guided tours lasting anywhere from thirty minutes to an hour and a half. Should you truly wish to see Indiana government at work, choose a guided tour, as visitors cannot access branch chambers without an on-staff guide.
