Nookies on N. Wells Street has been a go-to neighborhood joint for breakfast since 1973. The food is wholesome and comforting and the staff is extremely friendly. The dishes, such as the blueberry pancakes and smokehouse frittata are reminiscent of those familiar flavors of home. Nookies' portions are huge, but their prices are small.
