Shop for fresh fruits, vegetables, dairy, meats, and flowering plants from nearby farmers. Bring home some fresh baked bread or other bakery items for dinner. Sample maple syrup, honey, preserves and other specialty food items from local producers and crafters. People worldwide are rediscovering the benefits of buying local food.
