Constructed in the late nineteenth century and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Salt Lake City and County Building was designed by nationally prominent architect, Henry Hobson Richardson, whose style, "Richardsonian Romanesque," can be seen in other such landmarks as Trinity Church in Boston. The Utah Heritage Foundation offers a free, one hour guided tour of the Salt Lake City and County Building every Monday.
