Pappas Seafood House on Shepherd Drive is the epitome of seafood dining; a causal, friendly vibe pervades the restaurant while professional and accommodating servers scuttle in and out of the kitchen with freshly prepared gulf seafood. The oysters are some of the freshest and cleanest in town and the etouffées are simply perfect for those who love everything fish. The prices are very reasonable for the flavors achieved in the dishes as well as their healthy portion sizes. This is one of several locations around Houston but our favorite. Pappas Seafood House was one of the first offerings by this very successful Houston restaurant family.
