Arguably the best steakhouse in the area. It is included in the Honorable Mention category because it is 30 minutes from Downtown Houston, and that is when there is no traffic. Killien's is noteworthy on several fronts. First, It is damn good. Beyond that they serve beef cuts you can find in only a few places. For example, they serve Texas Akaushi Beef, Cabassi Australian Wagyu and 100% Japanese Wagyu from the Kagoshima Prefecture. In addition, if you want USDA, they have USDA Prime, Nebraska Corn Fed, Wet Aged 28 Days and USDA Prime, Illinois Corn Fed, Dry Aged 21 Days. But that is not all. How about tempting you with Certified Piedmontese beef from Nebraska or Harris Ranch All-Natural Five Diamond Beef from Coalinga, California. I think you get the drift. This place is the most serious steakhouse we have seen, and we have been to the best.
