The LBJ Presidential Library (Lyndon Baines Johnson) at the University of Texas at Austin highlights the good, the bad and the ugly of the LBJ administration, leaving no stone unturned in its presentation of LBJ's groundbreaking pieces of legislation. The Library houses hundreds of documents, photos, recordings and objects from stamps, to art, to personal clothing. The permanent exhibits are informative and engaging, such as "Civil Rights" and "The Legacy Gallery," detailing the impact of LBJ's "Great Society." The Library is quite large and full of interesting things to see, so plan to spend at least a few hours there should you wish to explore the majority of the Library.
