The SFC (Sustainable Food Center) Farmers' Market at Republic Park in downtown Austin is the largest certified growers-only market of its kind in Texas. Every Saturday from 9:00 to1:00, close to 100 vendors supply their homemade wares at this location, from sustainable and organic produce, to honey, to hand-crafted tamales, to freshly baked pastries. The downtown SFC Farmers' Market also features live music, providing the perfect backdrop for strolling around the different booths on a lazy Saturday afternoon.
