The Chicago Children's museum combines fun and learning perfectly through its three floors of exciting exhibits and activities. Children are transported into a brand new world as they jump into new exhibits, gaining new perspectives of the world around them in every activity. The Dinosaur expedition allows them to excavate bones, Kid's Town is a shrunken down city complete with its own bus and grocery store and Play It Safe teaches kids about fire safety and lets them explore an authentic fire truck. The sensory and interactive experiences gauge the children's interest, entertaining them while teaching concepts in the areas of science, math, the arts, literacy and health. What better way to spend the day with your grandchild than to pack a sack lunch and head to the Chicago Children's Museum at Navy Pier.
