Housing a permanent collection of over 2,500 works from 1945 on, the Museum of Contemporary Art offers enough to keep art enthusiasts busy for hours. In addition to its own art collection, the Museum temporarily plays host to travel exhibitions and theater and dance performances. The Museum is a calm, stress-free environment in which to view and appreciate painting, sculpture, photography and film by well-known contemporary artists, such as Andy Warhol and Jeff Koons as well as local artists that you have yet to discover. The Museum of Contemporary Art is closed on Mondays.
